Goa, May 16 -- The two-day Margao Purument Fest 2026 commenced on Saturday at Ravindra Bhavan Margao, bringing together traditional Goan products, local cuisine, and cultural heritage under one platform.

The festival is being organised by Goemkaranchi Girestkai in collaboration with the Goa State Rural Livelihood Mission and the Directorate of Rural Development Goa.

Open to the public from 11 am to 8 pm, the event features more than 40 stalls from across South Goa showcasing a wide range of traditional products. Visitors can explore homemade food items, handicrafts, spices, pickles, sweets, coconut-based products, shell crafts, dry fish, kokum products, and other locally made goods.
