Goa, April 16 -- Margao Police have registered an FIR against Hitesh Kumar Chakraworty, a resident of Bapraula in West Delhi, for allegedly cheating investors by misusing the name of Kastia Capital Pvt. Ltd. and collecting approximately Rs.20 lakh on the promise of high returns.

According to police, the accused is alleged to have lured investors with assurances of lucrative profits, only to defraud them through deceptive means. He is also accused of forging documents to mislead investors and gain their trust.

An investigation has been initiated to trace the flow of funds and identify other possible victims in the case. Further action will be taken based on the findings of the probe, police said.
