Goa, Nov. 6 -- The Margao Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC) Court has criticised Verna Police for their slow investigation and unexplained delay in forwarding crucial evidence for forensic examination.

Taking note of the lapses, the court has directed the conditional release of a mobile phone seized from an accused facing charges in an alleged sexual offence case.
