Goa, Oct. 4 -- Even as Union Home Minister Amit Shah launched the Mhaje Ghar scheme, Congress leaders in Margao have accused the state government of hypocrisy and political bias in its implementation.

Congress Block Convener Savio Coutinho, along with party leader Lalan Parsekar, alleged that while illegal houses built on government land are being regularised, ancestral homes such as the Parsekar family residence in Malbhat are facing demolition despite standing on private property.
