Goa, April 8 -- Market vendors in Mapusa have continued to keep their shops shut despite assurances from Vishwajit Rane, signaling ongoing discontent over unresolved issues.

The protesting vendors have now decided to escalate their agitation by taking their demands directly to the Mapusa Municipal Council. They are expected to stage a protest, urging authorities to address their grievances at the earliest.

Vendors maintain that their concerns remain unaddressed despite recent discussions, prompting them to continue the shutdown and intensify their protest action.
