Goa, June 8 -- A massive wave of public anger swept through Mapusa on Sunday as hun dreds of citizens, students, family members and friends staged a candlelight vigil and peaceful protest demanding justice for 22-year-old col lege student Samuel Garvyn De Braganca, who allegedly died by suicide after facing extreme public humiliation over a viral social media vid eo and alleged harassment by Mapusa Police. The agitation intensified following the release of the forensic autopsy report from the Goa Medical College (GMC). While the post-mor tem confirmed that the cause of death was a fatal close-range gunshot wound to the head, it dropped a ma jor investigative bombshell.
