Goa, June 24 -- A large mango tree collapsed amid strong winds at Narayan Nagar in Honda-Sattari, causing significant damage to a house, a car, and a two-wheeler on Monday. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the incident.

The tree crash, which occurred during a spell of gusty weather, resulted in an estimated property loss of Rs.3 to Rs.4 lakh, according to preliminary assessments.

Local authorities are expected to conduct a site inspection and assist the affected family. Residents have called for preventive trimming of roadside trees to avoid such incidents during the monsoon season.
