Goa, Aug. 1 -- A 25-year-old man from Thivim was allegedly stabbed in the back during a road rage incident at Moira on Friday evening, police said.

The victim, identified as Manthan Agarwadekar, sustained injuries in the attack and is currently undergoing treatment at the Goa Medical College (GMC).

Acting swiftly, Mapusa Police arrested the accused, Suraj Kasbe (28), a native of Maharashtra, within hours of the incident.

Police have registered a case and launched an investigation to ascertain the circumstances that led to the altercation. Further legal proceedings are underway.
