Goa, Oct. 2 -- A young man, reportedly under the influence of alcohol, slipped and fell into the sea at Anjuna Rock Beach late on Wednesday night, triggering a massive search operation by locals, police and fire brigade personnel.

According to eyewitnesses, the man was sitting on the rocks when he lost his balance and plunged into the rough waters. Despite immediate efforts by hotel staff and local residents to rescue him, the attempt failed due to high tide and poor visibility.
