Goa, Aug. 25 -- Through this letter, I wish to draw the attention of the Power Minister and the concerned authorities to the hardships faced by the residents of Majorda, especially Calata. Despite the underground power supply cable being laid and connected, there has been no improvement in electricity supply. In fact, the situation has worsened. We face more than ten power cuts daily, accompanied by severe voltage fluctuations. The common excuse given when we contact the Majorda electricity department is, "The main line is gone."
