Goa, Sept. 15 -- Maina Curtorim police cracked a chain-snatching case within 48 hours, earning the gratitude of the victim and her family. The swift action led to the arrest of the accused and recovery of the stolen ornament, which was valued at a significant sum.

The case was registered after a complaint was lodged by Maria Crasto, a resident of Raia in Salcete, who reported that her gold chain had been snatched. Acting promptly on the complaint, the Maina Curtorim Police launched an intensive investigation. Within two days, their efforts bore fruit with the arrest of one Arjun Hagali, a native of Hubali in Karnataka.
