Goa, Aug. 18 -- A leopard attacked and killed a calf belonging to local resident Sarvesh (Raju) Naik in Naikwada, Paliye, sparking fresh concern among villagers.
The incident has added to the fear already prevailing in the area, as leopard sightings have become increasingly frequent in recent weeks. Residents say the growing presence of the wild cat has created panic, particularly among those who keep cattle and small livestock.
Villagers have urged forest authorities to take immediate measures to address the situation and ensure the safety of both people and their animals.
