PANAJI, Nov. 5 -- The KTC Drivers & Allied Employees Association has served a strike notice on the Kadamba Transport Corporation Limited (KTCL), announcing an indefinite strike from November 12 over a range of pending employee demands.

The proposed strike will involve all categories of staff, including drivers operating electric buses.

The association's demands include regularisation of jobs, payment of pending 7th Pay Commission arrears, salary revision, clearance of outstanding Provident Fund (PF) contributions and an end to the outsourcing of electric bus operations to third-party operators.
