Goa, July 16 -- Kadamba Transport Corporation (KTC) has initiated disciplinary action against driver Rajesh Velip after a troubling incident on Tuesday afternoon, where school students were seen pushing a stalled bus on the Nuvem-Manora route.

Following a preliminary inquiry, authorities found evidence of serious negligence and deliberate misconduct by the driver. A memo has been issued to Velip for his actions, which have sparked public outrage and raised concerns over student safety.

KTC officials have assured that appropriate measures will be taken to prevent such incidents in the future.
