Goa, June 3 -- A youth from Karnataka, identified as Aniket Patil, died after reportedly suffering an electric shock while working at a hotel in Arpora.

According to sources, Patil was employed as an electrician at the establishment and was carrying out electrical work when the incident occurred. He allegedly came into contact with a live electrical source, resulting in a severe electric shock.

The injured youth was rushed for medical treatment, but succumbed to his injuries. The incident has sent shockwaves among workers and local residents in the area.
