Goa, Oct. 10 -- Passengers at Karmali Railway Station face severe delays as a single operational counter handles both general ticketing and reservations. Commuters also report unreliable digital payment options, poor ventilation, and a complete lack of basic amenities like ATMs and photocopy facilities in waiting areas.

Due to these deficits, travellers requiring cash or photocopies must commute nearly 3 kilometers to Old Goa. Frustrated by the poor conditions, local residents and consumer representatives have urged Konkan Railway officials to deploy additional personnel, set up separate ticketing counters, and significantly improve overall station infrastructure.
