Goa, July 9 -- Kala Academy Goa will celebrate the Golden Jubilee of its 50th Konkani Drama Competition on July 10 at Dinanath Mangeshkar Kala Mandir, marking a significant milestone in the state's rich theatrical tradition.

Chief Minister Pramod Sawant will attend the function as the chief guest. During the event, noted playwright Pundalik Narayan Nayak will be conferred with the prestigious Jeevan Gaurav Puraskar in recognition of his outstanding contribution to Konkani theatre. Around 30 theatre artists will also be felicitated for their contribution to the performing arts.
