Goa, June 2 -- Former Tamil Nadu BJP president K Annamalai is reportedly preparing to leave the BJP and launch a new political outfit, according to sources. The former IPS officer, who emerged as the saffron party's most prominent face in Tamil Nadu, is said to have rejected all offers made by the BJP's central leadership and is now considering a political platform with a nationalist ideology that opposes the Dravidian model.

Sources said Annamalai's decision stems from growing differences with the BJP leadership, particularly over the party's renewed alliance with the AIADMK.
