Goa, June 2 -- Former Tamil Nadu BJP chief says discussions with party leaders will take place soon amid speculation over his political future.

Former Tamil Nadu BJP president K Annamalai is reportedly considering quitting the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), with sources indicating that he sees little opportunity for growth or a future within the party. A crucial meeting with BJP leader Nitin Nabin is expected to take place later today, which could determine his next course of action.

The development comes nearly a month after the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections, in which the BJP managed to secure only one seat in the 234-member legislature, raising questions about the party's performance and strategy in the state.
