JSSC-CGL Cancellation Leaves 2,000 Selected Candidates Fearful of Losing Jobs
Ranchi, Aug. 19 -- The Jharkhand government's decision to cancel the JSSC-CGL 2024 examination and other state recruitment tests has triggered contrasting reactions, with protesting students welcoming the move while nearly 2,000 candidates selected through the CGL exam fearing the loss of their jobs.
The decision by the Hemant Soren-led government came after weeks of protests by students who had demanded the cancellation of the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level (JSSC-CGL) examination and other recruitment tests conducted through external agency TSR Data Processing Pvt Ltd (TDPL).
