Goa, June 17 -- A joint site inspection of the SGPDA Retail Market was carried out by the Consumer Consultation Committee in collaboration with officials from the SGPDA, Goa State Pollution Control Board, Health Department, Public Works Department (PWD), and Margao Municipal Council (MMC).

During the inspection, the team observed several violations and shortcomings concerning the maintenance and management of the market premises. The issues identified included deficiencies in sanitation, infrastructure, and the overall upkeep of the facility, raising concerns over conditions for both vendors and consumers.
