Goa, July 31 -- The mortal remains of Rameshwar Mahto, a migrant worker from Jharkhand, were finally brought back to his native Bandkharo village in Hazaribag district on Thursday-45 days after his death in Kuwait due to cardiac arrest.

Mahto had been working in Kuwait for the past 12 years. His wife, Pramila Devi, requested the repatriation of his body on June 19, following which the state migrant cell, the Indian Embassy in Kuwait, and the Protector of Emigrants in Ranchi were informed.
