Goa, Nov. 16 -- Jan Suraaj party spokesperson Pavan Verma has made a serious allegation following the Bihar assembly election results, claiming that Rs.14,000 crore in World Bank funds were diverted by the central government for election campaigning.
According to Verma, Rs.10,000 was distributed to women voters in Bihar using money originally meant for development projects financed by the World Bank. This diversion of funds, which were intended for critical infrastructure and welfare schemes, allegedly influenced voter behavior during the polls in favor of the ruling NDA coalition.
