Goa, Sept. 3 -- External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said on Thursday that India is ready to assist efforts to end the Russia-Ukraine war, reiterating New Delhi's support for dialogue and diplomacy to resolve the conflict.

Speaking alongside Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha during his visit to Kyiv, Jaishankar said India would be willing to help if its involvement could contribute to finding a way forward.

"If India can be of any help, in any manner, we are there," Jaishankar said, according to Reuters.

Jaishankar's remarks came during his ongoing visit to Ukraine, where he is holding discussions with Ukrainian officials on bilateral relations as well as wider regional developments.
