iPhone EMI Dispute May Not Be Sole Trigger Behind Maharashtra Family's Deaths
Goa, Aug. 28 -- An argument over an iPhone purchased on EMI may not have been the only factor behind the deaths of a family of three in Maharashtra's Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar on August 21, with a relative dismissing the widely circulated account as a "rumour".
Eighteen-year-old Kunal Chandgude had reportedly purchased an Apple iPhone on instalments but sought help from his parents after he was unable to make the monthly payments. The issue was initially cited as the trigger for a domestic dispute that ended in tragedy.
