India, April 4 -- Indian refiners have secured their crude oil needs despite West Asia disruptions, including purchases linked to Iran, according to the oil ministry. The ministry also said there is no payment hurdle for Iranian crude imports and that India has covered its requirements for the coming months.

Iranian Oil Returns India had not received a cargo from Tehran since May 2019 because of US pressure, but the latest disruption in the region has changed supply conditions. Last month, the United States temporarily eased sanctions on Iranian oil and refined products to reduce shortages.
