India Condemns Attack on Ship Off Oman, One Indian Seafarer Missing
Goa, July 12 -- India on Sunday strongly condemned the attack on the Cyprus-flagged merchant vessel GFS Galaxy off the coast of Oman, confirming that 11 Indian nationals were on board when the incident occurred. According to the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), 10 Indian seafarers have been rescued, while one crew member remains missing.In an official statement, the MEA said the Indian Embassy in Muscat is working closely with Omani authorities to assist in the ongoing search and rescue operation.
