Goa, Oct. 31 -- India and the United States on Friday signed a 10-year defence framework following talks between Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and US counterpart Pete Hegseth. The announcement was made by the US Secretary of Defence on X, formerly Twitter, confirming the agreement."I just met with rajnathsingh to sign a 10-year US-India Defence Framework. This strengthens our partnership, a key pillar of regional stability and deterrence," Hegseth posted. "We're boosting coordination, information sharing, and technology cooperation. Our defence ties have never been stronger," he added.
