Goa, Sept. 21 -- India and Sri Lanka will meet for another continental title on Tuesday, September 22, when the two sides clash in the women's cricket final at the Asian Games in Nisshin, Japan.

The encounter comes just nine days after the teams faced each other in the Asia Cup final in Dubai. India, the defending Asian Games champion, will be aiming to continue its dominant record against Sri Lanka and secure another gold medal.

India have won their last seven matches against Sri Lanka and enter the final unbeaten in the Asian Games. The team also carries strong recent form into the contest and will start as the higher-ranked side.
