Goa, April 14 -- The India Meteorological Department has issued a Yellow Alert for Goa, warning of hot and humid weather conditions across both North and South Goa on April 15 and 16, 2026.

Officials have advised residents to take necessary precautions as temperatures are expected to remain high, coupled with increased humidity levels that could lead to discomfort and heat-related issues.

Authorities recommend staying hydrated, avoiding prolonged exposure to the sun, and taking adequate rest, especially during peak afternoon hours. Vulnerable groups, including children and the elderly, are urged to exercise extra caution during this period.
