Goa, April 20 -- Hundreds of residents from the Christian community, along with local leaders, marched towards the Vasco Police Station demanding the arrest of Gautam Khattar and a public apology over his alleged remarks on St. Francis Xavier.
The protest saw a large turnout, with participants expressing strong opposition to the statements, which they said had hurt religious sentiments and disturbed communal harmony in Goa.
Demonstrators called for swift legal action against Khattar and urged authorities to ensure accountability. Many also emphasised the need to preserve Goa's long-standing tradition of unity and mutual respect among communities.
