Goa, April 13 -- Five members of a family were injured after a massive mango tree from a church compound collapsed onto their house late Sunday night at around 11:30 pm.According to Flavia D'Costa, a Fabrica member, the tree suddenly gave way and fell on the residence, prompting immediate rescue efforts. The injured family members were first rushed to the Aldona Primary Health Centre (PHC) and later shifted to Goa Medical College (GMC), Bambolim, for further examination and scans.One-and-a-half-year-old child sustained a head injury and required stitches on the forehead, while the child's mother also suffered a head injury and began vomiting at the PHC, following which doctors advised her transfer to GMC for advanced care.Peter, stated th...
