Goa, Aug. 25 -- A hit-and-run incident took place near Ambedkar Circle in Curchorem when a speeding car collided with another vehicle and fled the scene, police reported. A couple riding a two-wheeler was injured in the crash and required medical attention.

Curchorem Police have conducted a panchanama at the site of the accident, and sources confirmed that the registration number of the fleeing car has been traced. Authorities are investigating the incident and are on the lookout for the driver responsible.

Police have urged witnesses or anyone with information about the hit-and-run to come forward to assist in the investigation. Commuters in the area are advised to exercise caution as the probe continues.
