MAPUSA, July 12 -- Mapusa Police have detected a burglary case involving the theft of approximately Rs 65,000 from a stationery shop in Keniwado and arrested a 32-year-old history-sheeter from Shiroda after identifying him through CCTV footage.The case, registered under Sections 331(4) and 305 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023, pertains to a burglary at Krishna Station ary and Zerox, at Keniwado, Mapusa, Bardez.

According to the police, unidentified accused broke open the locks and hooks of the shop's entrance doors and allegedly stole approximately Rs 65,000 belonging to complainant Dineshbhai Valgibhai Prajapati before fleeing the scene.
