Goa, April 25 -- While big scores are a regular feature in IPL, successful chases of such massive targets are far less common. However, several teams have risen to the occasion and pulled off remarkable run-chases under pressure.

Rajasthan Royals became the first side to chase a 200-plus total when they scored 217/7 in 19.5 overs to overcome Deccan Chargers' 214/5 in IPL 2008, in just the ninth match of the tournament.

That record stood for 12 years before Rajasthan Royals broke it again in IPL 2020, chasing down Kings XI Punjab's 223/2 with 226/6.

Currently, Punjab Kings hold the record for the highest successful run chase in IPL history, having chased down a mammoth target of 262 against Kolkata Knight Riders at Eden Gardens in IPL 2...
