Goa, Aug. 10 -- The High Court has granted two weeks to Dr Medha Salkar and the Goa government to file their replies in a petition challenging the state government's decision to assign her the additional charge of Director of Health Services (DHS).

Dr Salkar, who currently serves as Chief Medical Officer, has been given additional charge of the Director of Health Services, a decision that has been challenged before the court.

During the proceedings, the High Court directed Dr Salkar and the Goa government to submit their responses within two weeks.

The court is expected to consider the matter further after the replies are filed.
