Goa, Nov. 3 -- The High Court has directed the South Goa Superintendent of Police and the Bogda-Vasco Police Inspector to provide adequate police personnel to the Mormugao Port Authority (MPA) on Wednesday morning to secure the land where the unauthorised shed, popularly known as 'Murgao Cha Raja', was demolished.

The police deployment is intended to facilitate the fencing of the area and prevent any further unauthorised occupation of the land.

The matter has been listed for Thursday, when the authorities are required to report compliance with the court's directions.
