Goa, June 1 -- A height barrier has been installed near the Garbage Treatment Plant on the Housing Board-Ganeshpuri to Marna road as part of efforts to improve road safety. Authorities said the measure was introduced following concerns over accidents involving heavy and over-height vehicles on the stretch. The barrier is expected to regulate vehicle movement and reduce the risk of mishaps in the area. Officials believe the initiative will enhance safety for residents, motorists and daily commuters who regularly use the road.
