Goa, Sept. 5 -- A heavy transport truck transporting a CAT excavator became stuck near the Gauri petrol pump in Porvorim after its rear wheel section suddenly sank into the road surface.

The unexpected cave-in has raised serious concerns regarding the structural integrity, road condition, and load-bearing capacity of the thoroughfare, especially when traversed by heavy machinery and construction vehicles. Local authorities are expected to assess the road damage and investigate the cause of the collapse.
