Goa, June 12 -- Heavy rainfall, accompanied by thunderstorms, lashed Bengaluru late Tuesday evening, causing severe waterlogging across several parts of the city. The worst impact was reported at low-lying junctions and underpasses, disrupting traffic and daily life.
North Bengaluru's Hennur was among the worst-hit, with roads submerged under several inches of water. Other areas such as Richmond Town, BTM Layout, Sarjapur, and Electronics City in the central and southern parts of the city also experienced moderate to heavy showers. Eastern localities like Marathahalli and western zones including Rajajinagar reported similar conditions.
