Goa, Oct. 4 -- Social activist Rama Kankonkar, who was brutally assaulted in a shocking daylight attack witnessed by the public, has managed to give his statement to the police. According to Fatorda MLA Vijai Sardesai, Kankonkar is now able to focus but continues to suffer from the trauma of the incident. Sardesai described the attack as a brazen attempt to silence voices of dissent, carried out in full public view, which has left a lasting impact on the activist's mental and emotional well-being.
