Goa, July 26 -- The Telangana Police's Criminal Investigation Department (CID) on Friday arrested Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) Secretary Devaraj Ramchander in connection with a high-profile case involving forgery, cheating, and misappropriation of funds.

According to CID officials, Ramchander-who had been absconding-was traced to a hotel in Pune, arrested, and brought back to Hyderabad. He was subsequently produced before a local court and remanded to judicial custody. He becomes the sixth official to be arrested in the ongoing investigation.
