Goa, Oct. 25 -- The High Court of Bombay at Goa has dismissed preliminary objections raised by two developers, ruling that the writ petition filed by activist Avertino Miranda was maintainable before a single judge under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India, as well as Rule 18 of Chapter XVII of the Appellate Side Rules.
Miranda had challenged the November 22, 2023, order issued by the Senior Town Planner, Bardez, which granted construction permissions to a Delhi-based builder at Socorro in Bardez taluka.
