Goa, July 31 -- The High Court of Bombay at Goa has disposed of a contempt petition related to noise pollution, while directing the Goa State Pollution Control Board (GSPCB) to implement stricter measures for open-air music venues.
As per the court's directive, all open-air establishments that play music will now be required to prominently display boards indicating the permissible decibel limits. The move aims to raise awareness among venue operators and the public regarding acceptable sound levels.
