Goa, Oct. 5 -- India may have won the ODI series against the West Indies 2-1, but the defeat in the third and final match has raised questions over the team's bowling depth ahead of the 2027 ODI World Cup. Former India batter Hanuma Vihari has now urged the team management and selectors to consider veteran pacers Mohammed Shami and Bhuvneshwar Kumar.

India had already sealed the series before the final ODI but missed out on a clean sweep after West Indies chased down a target of 352 in New Chandigarh. Captain Shai Hope produced a brilliant century to lead the visitors to victory in 48.2 overs.
