Goa, Dec. 18 -- Guirdolim Zilla Panchayat candidate Sanjay Velip has launched a sharp attack on Kala Academy Chairman Babu Kavlekar, terming him a "gaddaar" and asserting that Kavlekar has no right to speak about him.

Addressing the issue, Velip alleged that Kavlekar failed to accept his challenge to come forward and face him publicly at the Somnath Temple in Adnem. He said the refusal to respond to the challenge speaks for itself and questioned Kavlekar's credibility in commenting on his political stance.
