Guardian Angel Sports Club defeated United Club of Verna 3-1 to move into the quarter-finals of Curtorim Panchayat Cup 2025 organised by Maina Sports Club at St Alex Church ground, Curtorim, on Tuesday . Guardian Angel SC scored the first goal through Roston Costa in the 7th minute to make it 1-0. Guardian Angel SC doubled the lead through Preston Castanha in the 19th minute to make it 2-0 in the first half. In second half, UC Verna put up some pressure and created good chances but strikers fail to score. Guardian Angel SC scored their third goal through Preston in the 42nd minute. UC Verna pulled one goal back through Aglon Abranches in the 50 minute.
