Goa, June 24 -- The Goa Tourism Development Corporation (GTDC) has launched a special monsoon trekking expedition to the scenic Tambdi Surla Waterfalls, scheduled for Sunday, June 29, 2025. Located within the lush Bhagwan Mahaveer Wildlife Sanctuary, Tambdi Surla is a monsoon favourite, known for its forested trails, gushing streams, and tranquil natural beauty.
The trek begins at the 12th-century Tambdi Surla Shiva Temple, a heritage monument built in the Kadamba architectural style. From the temple, participants will trek through dense forests and natural streams to reach the waterfall-a moderately challenging route of about 90 minutes one way.
