Goa, Oct. 23 -- A grievance box at the North Goa District Hospital, meant for citizens to report issues to the Medical Superintendent and Deputy Director, has been shockingly misused as a dustbin. Writing pads and dry waste were found dumped inside, rendering the box ineffective for addressing patient complaints.

The incident raises serious concerns about supervision of hospital staff and the efficacy of internal grievance redressal mechanisms. If such negligence is evident at the entrance, questions arise about the overall monitoring system and the state of patient care protocols within the hospital. Authorities are yet to comment.
