India, Jan. 31 -- Goa Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant on Friday said that welfare initiatives such as the Graha Aadhar scheme for housewives and the Dayanand Social Security (DSS) scheme for senior citizens will help the BJP secure victory in the 2027 Assembly elections. He also highlighted funds allocated for startups and skill- and apprenticeship-based programmes for youth, stating that these schemes promote inclusive development across the state. Sawant said citizens remain at the centre of governance and recalled the late chief minister Manohar Parrikar's role in implementing several people-centric schemes during his tenure.
